Winkel & Balktick

Mark Winkel & Kevin Balktick are a pair of Brooklyn-based creative directors and event producers. They met in 2005 when they became neighbors in a live/work loft building in Dumbo.

Over the last six years, they have produced over a dozen feature Winkel & Balktick events, plus numerous other happenings. During that time, their vision and following has grown from a single loft to the city’s largest warehouses.

Along with a dedicated community of artists, designers, crew and volunteers, they transform mundane urban spaces into immersive fantasy environments. Their tools are larger-than-life installation art, extravagant costumes, decadent themes, surreal performance, enchanting live music and action-packed dancefloors.
